Should I leave a note for my girlfriend?

We're in college and my girlfriend and I have been together for about a week. She works a lot and is very busy and I haven't seen her in a couple of days. She's working today but hopefully I'll see her tonight. I was thinking that I would buy her a couple of pretty flowers and write a short note for when she gets off work. I thought I would just say how I know she's been busy/stressed and wanted to cheer her up and that I was thinking of her. Then how I'm glad that we decided to be together and how lucky I feel to be with someone as beautiful and sweet as her. Something like that. Does that sound OK? or is it too much this early in the relationship. I want to do something to show her I care, but I don't want to creep her out or anything. Should I leave it on her doorstep? She has roommates so I don't know who would see it first, but I don't know what else to do either. Any other suggestions? thanks!
