Can A Hermit Crab and Frog Be Caged Together?

We are planning on getting hermit for my brother tomorrow and are considering also getting a frog. Is it possible? If so, what kind of frog? (Species and semi-aquatic or no aquatic?) And what do frogs eat? What do frogs require? If it is not possible to house frogs and hermit together we will probably just get aquatic frogs for our fish tank. What bedding and food would work best if we were able to house the frog and hermit ?
