Shouldn't the tobacco cos be required to list all or most of the chemical additives on the cigarette package?

They should.....but if the government was really so concerned regarding peoples health rather than simply increasing taxes wouldnt they ban the harmful chemicals added which aid in providing a particular taste to each brand and allow it to continue to burn when it is not being smoked?
