How can you add to or edit a question you have asked on YA? Is there a waiting period??

I wanted to clarify my question about seeing people die or seeing dead bodies. Upon reflection I realize most people have seen dead bodies at funerals. And I wasn't just trying to be morbid when I asked the question. I've recently started working at a nursing home and about 6 people have died in the last two months, several right there on site. Although it hasn't happened yet, if someone dies on my shift, I may be asked to clean the body. I'm not sure I'm ready for that. I was just wondering if other people have been around dead bodies who are not really part of their lives. Whenever I tried to add this to my question, I couldn't get anywhere. I didn't know if it was just my crappy computer and dial up connection, or if there was some kind of waiting period before you can edit.
