Help choosing a printer!?

I found that HP 3in1 printers are very good. I had mine for 4 1/2 yrs. and it just went out. Most printers have a lifetime of 2-3 years. I now have a Canon, and its wonderful. Its just that it runs out of ink fast. Faster than the HP 3in1. Then walgreen don't even refill Canons ink like they do for HP.
